Illusions of the rose

Roses, so beautiful
Almost fake in their perfection
But I see errors with my reflection

Roses, so red and bright
Attracting to the eye
Making my heart fly

Roses, velvety soft
They feel wonderful against my skin
Just like the soft side of a pin

Roses, so deadly
Thorns fill my heart
get past them and you will see
The shinning rose I could be
