Her hell

by kiki   Mar 13, 2006

She remembers the good days, the days when the world seemed like a perfect place. No-one to
hurt her, or make her feel sad, this was her eden, her fairy-floss safe world. This was when
she was 9, now she is 16 and she
sees the world as thorn-ridden, full of poisonous snakes that called them-selves friends,
hidden by evil masks of 'love', 'friendship', 'honesty' and 'trust'. These were facades that
were planted when they were born, they ran
in everyone's blood stream almost a genetic trait of the wicked and unkind. She wanted the
candy-lane beauty the innocence of her eyes, the beauty of a single day, the magic of a
sunrise and the calmness of the sunsets this was
her utopia. Waking up the sunrise wasn't so magical, the blood-stained sky was like her
heart, broken and weeping with sadness. The sunsets weren't calm anymore, her father's
drinking and her mother's bruises, the calmness and
serenity of the night was gone...now full of broken dreams and horrific nightmares. This was
her world, covered in magazines of cherry lip-gloss teenagers and Perfume commercials...this
was now her sanctuary, the vainness of the
less-than-perfect models and grossly over-priced fashion items, this was her home, her eden,
her utopia. Watching the days blending into the next, she would cry as the beauty of the
world faded into gray and the once calm and peaceful
world churned into a chaotic hell she now called reality. Her eyes were faded from the lack
of sun and her skin was like scales as she felt the cold, the sun never came out anymore,
there wasn't enough innocence for the perfection
of warmth and sunlight...The years went by and the world stayed the same, always looking for
her eden, always striving for her bubble-gum chewing world she once knew....she may never
find it, closing her eyes for the last time
she dreamed of her fantasy, she dreamed forever of her perfection, she was only 18. Nobody
found the young girl, not for days, by then the beauty had consumed her and she was gone.
No-one knew, no-one noticed...this was her life, her world...this was her hell...
