Goodbye

by Passionate   Mar 13, 2006

A shot is fired
She falls to the ground
Her last hope of love is lost in the blood lust,
Never again to be found.

A dream is stomped over
A heart ripped apart,
A girl in her pig-tails hits the ground hard.

They don't see her disappearing
Turning and screaming their way,
A little girl un-claimed
Drifts slowly into nights day.

Her pain over-takes her
Her eyes finally tear,
So she does something drastic
Because of the weakness she feels.

* *

In one way or the other
She'll be gone someday,

Weather today or tomorrow
"Goodbye" isn't all she'll say.
