They drove me to this

by Rosie   Mar 13, 2006

I sit alone in my room,
With tears running down my face,
Blood running down my wrist,
I scream in agony,
They drove me to this,

I drop the vodka onto the floor,
This is it,
This is my exit of this cruel world,
I can no longer go on pretending,
Pretending that everything is OK,
Because its not, nothings OK anymore,

I search the cupboards, and find what I need- Pills,
I hold them in my hand,
I’m shaking,
Goodbye cruel world,

But as I bring them toward me,
I collapse into a flood of tears,
I cant do this,
What about my friends?
What about my family?
I need to be strong,
If not for me, then for them.
