The forgaotten

by I am begining to think it is not worth loving you   Mar 14, 2006

The forgotten

I am the forgotten dead
I am full of loneliness
I am drifting away
To the nothingness inside of me

I am lifeless
I am a deaf person
That is ignored
I have been emptied
Of whom I used to be

I am the last fall leaf
Falling from the tree
I am the child that’s
Screams are left unheard

I am the plane
That didn’t reach
Its destination

I am a fish
In a dried up river

I am the rain drop
As it hit a puddle
On the ground

I am the old woman
That needs help
Carrying her groceries
Across the busy street

I am a snowflake
That melts in the
Palm of your hand
Into water
To never be seen again
