The Body

by **Just Her**   Mar 14, 2006

Glistening sparks of water
Shades of clear crystal fall
Eyes sunken in deep, black holes
Revealed are empty, unheard souls

Words are mere waves of trembles
The salty taste of tears suspends a voice
For a moment life becomes surreal
Existence becomes the ability to feel

Hands are shaking uncontrollably
Palms of sweat attract nervousness and insecurity
If these hands were held onto tight
For once the balance of skin would be just right

Feet become as heavy as stone
They fail to walk when your in need to move
Stuck in one position in what seems always
Disobeying any command your mind says

Your body comes together to form nothing at all
All your fears arise in every muscle, but your mind
Haunting sensations never came from what we thought
But only from what our bodies brought

    Very Vivid, I like it,

Palms of sweat attract nervousness and insecurity

Very nice way of putting that emotion =) keep it up!
