Friends (something different)

This Is Long... But I bet you will be glad you read it after you did....Enjoy

In life we become witnesses to every little event; you see someone cheating, someone dying, someone crying, someone smiling, and so on. Every little bit of another person becomes your own. That is why when we form a close relationship with someone they become so important to us. We spend enough time with a single soul to have us realize that without them we would be missing a part of ourselves; the part of us that watches over them, that notices when their sad, sees them while they are smiling, etc. Their life becomes fit to ours. We worry about them when they become distant, we miss them when they leave, we love them when they do little anticts that make our hearts smile and we need them when our own worlds fall apart.

Some people do not understand why friends are so important or why we need them so much. But if you think about it, their the only people we really need. You often hear sayings like "I married him because he was my best friend", "not only was I her mother, but I was her friend, that meant so much more" and many other phrases that relate to every relationship being at its best when it involves a friendship.

As we grow older we tend to let the word friendship slip away. You get a boyfriend/husband, and you rely on family members after that. After a while we realize that we do not have friends anymore, we have a family. Maybe that is what happens to everyone when they grow older, they watch over others to make sure they can have a family and friends. But what if we were 35 years old and decided to call up your best friend from high school. How excited would that friend be? How nervous would you be? I bet you would get together and spend the whole time talking and laughing about the past. Those moments are precious, even if it is "living in the past", why not do so? Sometimes it is a good idea to see the people you once cared about and could not live without.

The whole point of this whole big thing is to remind everyone that friends are important, in every aspect, and at every age. We need them, they need us. Do not let friendships slip away because of silly fights, little arguements, age, and whatever other reason you may have. The friendships with people you have at any age will be the most important relationship you will ever have because friends teach us the most, whether it be about ourselves or about the world.

I know I love my friends, but can you say the same? Think about it.
