Frostbite Demon

by Cueball24   Mar 14, 2006

Shards of winter and time trapping blizzards reign.
Like a billion snow cones constantly freezing your brain.
Crimson roses savory chocolates have no effect.
Not having valued emotions to which to defect.
It is crystal clear her endless love can't be bought.
What can I conceivably give what others haven't thought?
Gravely trancelike in thought I am covered in fear.
Oh think fast think wisely for the time is growing springing near.
Perfect I exclaim loudly I have the perfect thing!!
Victorious I walk bringing no present not even a diamond ring.
Determined focused I walk like a solider made of steel.
Even such a formidable foe has an Achilles heel.
Fear tightens its ever present air restricting hold.
My humble chivalry attempt will probably go untold.
Question my dwindling sanity which changes like the tide.
Bravely heroically I cast my closest friends aside.
Rain rips biting its way through my shirt to my chest.
Thunderous bombarding raindrops oh what a pest!!
Her red brick doorstep is where the final battle shall take place.
You stand like golden statue before me with tender face.
And what was the fingernail biting suspenseful outcome?
Kindly patiently wait until I am finished kissing her lips some.
