Gentle Baby Girl

by Cueball24   Mar 14, 2006

My mind my world it's all coming undone and beginning to swirl.
As I look at my new fresh adorable baby girl.
She is so small like a miniature piece of glass in my huge arms.
Tears are streaking down my face like bees in their swarms.
I share this little angel this precious baby with my loving wife.
Forever I can love my child as she progresses through the stages of life.
Gently passionately tenderly I kiss her little soft head.
Placing her in her wooden crib beside our pillow laden bed.
No one except God knows what this baby has in store.
But my life is complete wtih two beautiful loving girls in my life I need not more.
Day shall end and here comes the darkness that precedes the night.
Hearing my little girl cry I hurriedly turn on the light.
Caring not how long it takes for her to go back into that grateful peaceful sleep.
Lips on wives and little girls were made to be kissed gentle and deep.
Oh how your tiny heart as it keeps in tune with my heart beat.
Just pausing for a few seconds I playfully tickle those cute feet.
