He is the love of my life
who kept me away from this knife
he put up the strife
kept me from taking my life--
he is the only one who will understand
when I'm sinking beneath the sand
he grabs my hand
and pulls me back onto land--
when he is around
i block out all i surround
as we lay on the ground
and listen to our hearts pound--
he listens to the sound of my tears
falling when i have fears
i don't care about my peers
or any of these past years--
i just want to lay on his arms
and watch the world go by
because he is the love of my life
and i could never love anyone
as much as i love him
