Every Night

Every night I think of you,
Every night I dream of what could be,
Every night is like torture,
Not having you next to me.

Seems like a nightmare.
Waking up knowing you're not there.
Dreams of us together,
Walking hand in hand.
Cuddling on the beach,
Watching the sunset.
Your arms around me,
Letting me know you'll always protect me.

As we get up to walk home,
You turn around and look into my eyes and say "I love you"
You Lean in and as your lips touch mine,
I'm awakened by the sound of the alarm...
It felt so real, me and you.
Waking up from that beautiful dream lets me know that soon we'll be together.

    Was a pretty good poem better then some of the others....again nothing stood out but I could feel your emotion in this piece which is good.

    I thought this poem was really good but I do think you could have broken the last paragraph up some more. Those two really long lines kind of take something away from it. 4/5
