Imaginations

by Phoebe   Mar 15, 2006

I feel the walls around me closing,
And trapping me inside my dreams,
In a world when everything is good,
And nothing is quite what it seems.

In this world I call my own,
There is no one to bring me pain,
No longer do I see clouds of gray,
I see sunshine, instead of rain.

The rainbows are beautiful,
And the sun shines so bright,
Upon me and around me,
I've never seen so much light.

I don't curl up and hide anymore,
I run around, laugh, and explore,
And I can be happy for as long as I want,
After all, what are imaginations for?
