Perfect Life?

by Jus2Much   Mar 16, 2006

I may look happy on the outside,
But no one knows what goes on in.
I have so many emotions,
That I don't know where to begin.

I hate when I have a problem,
That I know I can't fix.
When no one lends a hand,
It makes me sick.

How can you be so HEARTLESS,
So EMOTIONLESS, So STUCK ON YOURSELF?
And look down on others
when they need your help.

Why can't we build people up,
Instead of tearing them down?
We tread on them
Like they are our ground.

Each cold word hits me.
They are bulldozers.
I wonder when all the hate
And rudeness will be over.

Some hide because they think they're next.
They don't notice, that there is no best.
Is it that hard to watch someone succeed?
Why tear them down and be so mean?

I know how this feels.
I've been there before.
To be trapped in a room
Without windows or doors.

There is no perfect, it's all just an act.
What they do to you.
Will happen to them,
And that is a fact.
