I fell in Love with a Day dream

Staring out my window
The world is dark and grey.
Dreaming about tomorrow,
Trying to forget about yesterday.

As I remember his arms around me
A tear slides down my cheek.
I try to forget his memory,
Yet somehow I feel so weak.

I gave my heart to phantom,
a girlish fantasy and daydream....
But, as they say,
My knight in shining armor
Turned out to be nothing more,
Then a loser in aluminum foil.

I fell in love with someone,
who I now know doesn't exsist.
Yes, I fell in love with someone
and in the end, I'm left all alone
holding my broken heart.....
