The World of Fate

They were perfect together
Everyone thought they'd last forever

They soon started to date
But no one saw their fate

They'd walk together in the halls
And never miss their lovers calls

A glow on her face would appear
Without a single thought of hate or fear

Three or four months would pass by
And every now and then shed start to cry

Suddenly, he didn't want her kisses or hugs
All he seemed to want was drugs

She wanted him with her there
She wanted him to know she cared

At home shed lay awake in bed
Wondering what was wrong with his head

Why couldn't he see the light?
And let everyone know He'd be all right

She found out in April that she was due
She wished so much her life was through

He couldn't be depended on as a dad
Inside, knowing this made her sad

The glow on her face couldn't be seen
What was she to do? She was a pregnant teen

Her parents were never around
And he couldn't be found

She was alone in this world of hate
All because of the world of fate

She gave the baby up because she couldn't deal
But what she didn't know was this baby could feel

It could feel every emotion she had
Deep inside it knew it didn't have a dad

The baby was given to a better place
With a loving hand and a pretty face

Tragically, the baby's mom had died
Because she decided to drink and drive

But the baby knew he had her heart
And wishes every day she could have a new start

The boy turned into a wonderful guy
Who wishes that his mother would have tried

He remembers feeling all of her pain
And the last thought before she went insane

Every now and then hell start to cry
But then he remembers she is an angel in the sky

And she looks down upon his grace
Yet, he'll always remember her beautiful face
