Behind Closed Doors

by Laloser05   Mar 17, 2006

You see her smiling,
No tears anywhere near.
Just an innocent angel,
No screams you can hear.
But don't take what you first see,
Shine a little more light...
Then you will see...
She dies every night.
In the non privacy of her room,
A razor blade looks used.
Sat in the corner...
Every night she gets abused..

Everyday, a smile is beaming,
You don't look at what you're truly seeing.
Every smile, every laugh... every time so hard...
The brick wall that shes put up is just a facade.
People refuse to admit that we all know...
The secrets that are hidden.
Behind closed doors.

The secrets she hiding,
The hard cold faced lies.
She keeps it all hidden,
Behind her big blue eyes.
Her friends are oblivious,
No body See's...
Screaming in her head
"GOD SOMEONE SAVE ME!"
Every night she prays to god,
For a helping hand sometime soon.
On her knees, finished amen,
The man just steps in the room.
She is innocent and parts from the floor...
No one sees the secrets hidden...
Behind closed doors.

Every night she sits on her knees,
Praying to someone, hoping they'll see.
The truth that lies behind the girls eyes...
Why doesn't someone just look past the lies.
This night was too late...
The poor girl suffered her fate.
The suicide covered.. but not from her eyes...
A cover story blown, covered with lies...
Because no one saw..
The Suicide... The Nights She Cried... That Night She died...
Behind Closed Doors.

This is really amazing...I know I dont know exactly how you feel. No one does. But I know its got to be similar...kinda like hell right? With no escape? You scream but all you get back is whispers of the wind? No one cares to break your wall down? I know what that's like.
