Contaminated By My Love

by })I({FlutterBye-Kisses})I({   Mar 17, 2006

My love for you,
Has contaminated me.
My very heart,
Beats to the rhythm
Of your name.
And though my eyes
Look all the same;
They see
Only you and you alone.

All I taste
Is your fiery kisses,
Imagined,
Sending my mind reeling
Into the turbulent waters
Of sinful passion
And the chaotic oblivion
Of intense pleasure.

All I hear
Is the ringing sound
Of your voice,
Sounding out insults
Of your slanted opinions,
So superior.

All I smell,
Is your spicy cologne
Of cinnamon
Intoxicating the air
As you brush,
Disgusted,
Past me.

All I feel,
Is your smooth cold skin,
Beneath my hand
Though not once,
Even if I wish it weren't so,
Have we touched.

My love for you,
Has contaminated
My being;
The very fibre of my existence,
My reality.
All I ever believe to be true
Has been turned on its head,
Simply cuz I love you,
And it can't be.

My love for you,
Has contaminated me,
And though my love,
Forever unrequited shall remain,
I will go on for infinity,
Loving you all the same.
