Walking In The Halls At School

by ChristinaMichelle   Mar 17, 2006

I hate walking threw the school halls.
The halls are full of loud kids.
Kids are so mean these days.
The things they say to you…
Hurts!
The way they look at you…
Hurts!
There’s no way around it.
I try not to get mad!
But at the same time…
I find myself a different person
and it seems like I can’t change that person.

My school is so different
I don’t fit in with the groups I want to.
I just want to be accepted!!
But I don’t see that happening!

You have The Jocks, The Cheerleaders, The Preps, The Smart Kids, The Geeks, The Nerds, The Freaks, The Goths, The Punks, The Crazy People and The Special Ed Kids.
I don’t fit in with any of them

The friends I do have I’m so lucky to have them. I don’t know what I would do without them.
That one of the big reasons why I go to school.
Without them I don’t know what I would do.
They don’t look at me different.
Like everyone else in my school.
People treat the same way they treat me.

Just remember if you treat some one like shit, remember different people are cool too.
All you preps should give us a chance.
You’ll be surprised!

I think this is a pritty good poem, it's basicly non-rhyming so the part
    'what's a girl to do?
    I wish I knew!'
Kinda throws it off, the listing of the groups throws it off too. Make sure you go back through and check to see if this site changed you're >'< those into some thing else, it does that.

    Good poem.
