God\'s love, the tale of the crack & the wall

by nicole   Mar 18, 2006

Here for me, there for you.

Gods love flowing, massaging, penetrating,
pushing through the cracks in the wall built so long ago.

Healing, mending comes the rushing flow.

The wall stands there, battered & beaten like the rest,
nothing different at first glance.

Theres a crack in the wall, bigger by force, battered &
beaten by time and worse, until finally remorse broke through.

The crack says â??Stay! Stay! Iâ??ll take care of youâ??
â??Dont listen to the builder, carry through!â??

â??this walls seen to many things, stood through a few to many stormsâ?¦â??
Renewed life comes in many forms.
The crack is afraid that the builder will soon return,
to tear down the old wall and make it new!

â??Stand! Stand!â?? The crack says,
â??Stand firm and dont let the builder break through you!â??

Its up to the wall to stand or to fall,
But Ive found a gap thats big enough for love thats all.

Theres always new hope, true love once to find,
But maybe Gods saying â??Wait, let me tear down
the old wall to remake it newâ??
maybe the builders been knocking out loose stones here & there,
but is waiting for you to voluntarily break down & be made new?
