I gave up the wish
Facing a reality, painfully real

Got back to what I was doing
Playing my music loud
I looked to the door, waiting to see my dream walk out

What I saw, I could not believe

Took it forever, never letting me go

I took you over to my bed
Laid in your arms
As I realized, my dreams had all come true

I smiled as you brushed my hair, away from my face
And told me sweet things, I had never before heard
Making me feel, like the girl of your dreams

I smiled as you kissed me
Enjoying every moment
Returning the favor, as well as I could

Feeling your tight, embrace
Hoping youd never, let me go
I laid as close as I dare, taking your warmth

Enjoying your care
I knew I gave my heart, to a sweetheart
That will always, let me know

How much he loves me
How much he needs me
How special I make him feel

Laying in his arms, for hours
I knew he was all, I wanted
