You Will Never Enter

by kia   Mar 2, 2008

Think of a safe place
Imagine every little detail
Now go to the place
Make sure you can see it and touch it

I bet you feel safe
Safer than you ever imagined being able to feel again
Now look a little closer
And see your heart break then shatter

You'll never belong in your safe place
He doesn't want you
Your allowed close enough to know what you missing
But kept far enough to never be able to feel it

Sucked in by hope
That one day he'll let you enter
And your world will be complete
And your heart will heal

So you wait another day
That will turn into another year
All that you'll have to show
Will be a collection of broken dreams

Every time your hopes are shattered
And your tears are all cried out
You'll draw up enough strength to believe one more time
And fake just one more smile

That was a good poem Kia.
I think people should write poems more like that- the person thats reading it is the subject. It sounds so much like my lif....love life. I just wish I could get over liking...loving him. But thats another story.
    anyway, good job.
