Gravestone Rememberance (Collab with TwilightPath)

by The Wingless   Mar 19, 2006

How far back will I have to go
There's so many people I'll leave behind
This is against all the things I know
And I'll blindly lose my mind

This journey will mark my soul
Along with my useless heart
The weariness will take it's toll
And pull my dead whole apart

I'll live inside the lies I coil
Ignoring all the hopeless cries
They'll stay with me, above the soil
Your death will be my final prize

And now I sigh, a burden lifted
Holding in my bitter tears
My luck has finally shifted
I'll let out my discerning fears

Finally I can peacefully rest
Upon your so-called grave
You tried to mutter a last protest
And in turn your life you gave
