Good bye

by Raydeen   Mar 19, 2006

It was the last thing she wanted,
But he did it anyway, he said good bye,
told her he loved her,
and not to cry.

She sat herself outside,
the cold numbed her,
she sat there for hours that seemed like seconds,
those words replayed in her head "Good bye" and everything else was a blur.

she got up,
put on a smile,
the pain slowly began to subside,
it took a while.

she blocked him out,
pushed the memories out of her mind,
she needed someone to hold her,
and went to see who she could find.

best friends,
together forever is what they had said,
but when she got to the her friends house,
she turned around and walked away with pictures of him holding her in her head.

best friends,
what a lie,
in love,
it made her cry.

Deceiving friends,
crying outside,
old loves,
she needed somewhere to hide.

and if he came back,
she knew what to do,
she'd tell him,
"I don't need you"
