Daddy Why?

I hear her yelling late in the night
I look around but no one is in sight

The sound of her voice is straining with fear
She is crying and crying hoping someone will hear

Stop daddy stop, the tears are poring out her eyes
But he doesn't stop and she continues to cry

Her body quickly bruising from the intense pain
Only wishing her daddy handn't gone out and came home insane

She gets pushed to the floor and starts to bleed
Confused why it is so hard for her daddy to see

That he is hurting his little girl and she cant bare the pain
Why did this day come, my daddy went insane

She gets away and runs to the phone
hoping someone will be at home

She hears the yelling voice and footsteps coming near
She hopes someone answers the phone and they will hear

The screaming and yelling she is going through
What In the world is she going to do

The pain she was feeling was to much to bare
Then she stopped concentrating and didnt care

She started seeing black and the dizzy spells came
Then she put her head back down and started to say

Her last words of daddy I love you
He stands over her as she closes her eyes
He stands there still and then wonders why
One tear forms in his eye as he starts to cry.
