Wanting to be happy

Wishing that some day,
Knowing that there is hope,
Crying away the days,
Wondering, if i can
Ever be happy

Knowing that many
People feel the same way
But no matter what I do,
Pretending to be happy
So people don't see the pain,

So people do not know
That I am constantly
Sad, I know people feel
The same as I do, yet
Still feeling all alone

Maybe I can get
Through this period
Of sadness,
Someday I will and
I know I can.
