Pushed You So Far

by Samey   Mar 21, 2006

Death in the hands of another,
Never thought he could be so harsh...cruel...spiteful,
Beat to the ground for loves embrace,
Bruises never felt so right,
Pushed you so far under, lost hope,
Its amazing you made it this far,
She told you to walk away...leave...flee,
Leave him and the pain behind,
But love was too strong in your heart,
Pushed you so far in, lost faith,
She wanted to save you,
Couldn't see it all, pain...hate...want,
As it dangled in front of your face,
Just gave into the hurt,
Pushed you so far down, lost sight,
Nothing left but shattered dreams,
And a broken body, beaten...abused...neglected,
You never did anything wrong,
Unless living and loving are a crime,
Pushed you so far away, lost life,
In loves name you fell into a grave,
Scattered leaves fell gently in the wind,
Remembering things once needed...wanted...desired,
Now just lost in the need of another,
Pushed you so far, it's no wonder you broke,
Why didn't you walk away?
