thats what i used to be
but now i feel so empty
broken and lonely

why did you leave me daddy?
why did you have to go?
ever since you left me
i've never felt so low

i wrote you a note explaining
why i turned out this way
i told you everything
even my little habit for each and every day

i really do love you daddy
i love the boys too
but i didnt mean to hurt them

for this big and awful mess
its you that is to blame
you say you really love me
but all you should feel is shame

you think your a great father
when you see me always smile
but if you were so great
you'd know they rub off after a while

and then i sit in the dark
staring at the knife
thinking should i really do it?
should i really take my life??

but i turn it down
and i do this each and everyday
but daddy remember this
