Snow

As the snow is falling
As the day lays dying
I watch the fire burning bright
Wispy smoke carries thoughts out
through the dark chimney
into the swift frigid air
swirling cold and sweeping wind
the blood sun's fading light mixes
with deep thoughts as they fly
This is, they are, we are
As the snow is falling
As the day lays dying

    I really like this. its got something i cant exactly state. the use of words is great. its makes it stretch and stand out. thats what i like about it. great write.

    This poem makes me think of homeless people. I like the images, and universal meaning. I don't know if that was intentional or not, but many people can find multible means. good job.
