Full moon firefly

by boo boo   Mar 22, 2006

In my land of make believe where: The moon is complete, the clouds are a shadow of sinister indigo and the stirring waves collapse on the pearl white grains of sand. A modest child scampered alongside the blunt rocks a childish giggle comes to pass as she runs along the ground on her filthy diminutive shoe-less feet, a candle with a stirring flame ablaze in one hand, a delicately inter-weaved net in the other. Running and laughing as dazzlingly lit fireflies scatter around her. Her weak little arms swirl the net from side to side in hope of catching a single majestic firefly to entitle her own. On this cloudy night full of shadows the fireflies are lone stars in the atmosphere, soaring illumination fleeting throughout the ocean breeze. Their radiance a visible glow of gold and their blaze is seen and captured forever in the young girl’s eyes.

Good, some great imagery, but why did you categorise it as dark?
