Without Me

by Blacksand   Mar 23, 2006

The weight of life is breaking me,
so you just keep tossing more on.
Just one time I want to see,
what will happen to you when I'm gone.

When I'm not here for you to use,
and at last I'm finally free.
How would you take the bitter news?
What could you do without me?

If everything that I went through,
was placed upon your back.
Then you'd know what I said was true,
and that you are not worth jack.

Would that make you want to change?
If you saw the error of your ways?
I think you would find it all too strange,
and lure in another with your gaze.

So when I leave this mortal plain,
you had better have a plan.
For, I know you just can't take the strain,
so you'll have to con a different man.
