As i fall asleep at night,
i pray the stars will hold you tight,
i pray the moon shine bright on you,
to light your night the whole way through.

when I'm asleep i see you there,
i turn and hug the place you were,
my dreams are where i long to be,
cause in my dreams you're here with me.

morning times the time i hate,
when i awake it seals my fate,
as i come too i turn and see,
my babes not lying next to me.
