It's Your Choice

by Jennifer   Mar 23, 2006

When I saw her standing beside you it tore me apart
I couldn't stand to watch, the image broke my heart

I ran from the sight thinking it could be erased from my head
But that just made me think of you
And all the sweet things you've said

I used to think I took what you said the wrong way
But you proved what I hoped you meant at the end of every day

I knew it'd be an akward thing for people to accept you and me
Everyone would try to screw it up
and never let us be

You were mine for the time being
Until I was reminded of her
But your actions confused me leaving my life a blur

You wanted me but didn't want the consequences
You wanted me to be with you without dealing with possible expenses

So now you must choose between her and me
And if you choose me, by your side I'll always be

I see the real you and that is why I care
But the pain of seeing you with her I can no longer bear
