It\'s hard to believe it\'s been over a year
So much has happened & through it all you\'ve been here

A precious little angel sent from above
For whom there is so much unconditional love

Tears of sorrow are mixed with those of joy
Realizing we gained an angel through a little boy

Staring at you wrapped in your blanket with your dad\'s fingers and toes
And your precious little face with your mom\'s chin and nose

I would like to say I got to watch you grow
But it wasn\'t in the plans- Why? I still don\'t know

But I\'ve come to understand God is not to blame
If I had the oppurtunity to hold you for eternity, I would\'ve done the same

For the little steps we can\'t see you take
For the little sounds we can\'t hear you make

We know that you are always around
We feel your presence in the sunshine, see you in the flowers growing from the ground

You\'re our guardian angel and for that we\'re always blessed
So Happy Birthday sweet Kaden,
You\'re always loved & missed.
