Looking

by Blacksand   Mar 24, 2006

Cast not your gaze to the sky,
for on the ground you will stumble.
Nor to the earth should you let your gaze lie,
for whatever's above you may crumble.
Fix not your view upon scenes from the past,
for trouble might wait right up the track.
Nor to the future should you sight be cast,
for problem could very well sneak up from the back.
You should keep your vision locked on the here, and the now,
get all of the fullness from this life that you can.
And etch in your hearts and minds this vow,
"Every moment that's gone, can never come again."
