SCARS

He holds it inside
afraid to let go
the one thing he wants
is someone to know
the pain he is going through
hurts him so much
he doesn't know how to deal with it
so he settles for a cut
they start off little
hes scared to go deep
he only scratches the surface
not yet does he want blood to seep
then one night he snaps
as i hold him in my arms
blood is all around me
this time there will be scars
if only someone would have noticed sooner
if only someone came
to help him with his problems
to keep him from going insane
all i can do
is hold him close to me
show him that i care
i need to make him see
life holds more wonders
than hell ever see
i just wish he knew
what he does for me
i need to let him know
that I'm hear for him
no matter what the cost
because without him in my life
i would forever be lost
