The Call

by Eternal Sadness   Mar 24, 2006

If you can hear me its because I'm screaming,
screaming from my fear infested heart,
Waiting for your signal to lead me on into your world,
To visit the horrors of your thoughts,
To eat the poisoned apples of your dreams.
But here I sit alone waiting for your call.
Waiting and listening day after day,
Screaming and shouting from the pain,
As I beg for the calls that will not come.

I sit in the corner white with fear,
Bloody wrists and shedding tears,
The disguarded blade making signals with the sun,
For you to make your call upon.
But when you do,
The world is too late.
You didnt care you left me here to bleed alone.

I was trapped, trapped in a world of unknowns.
My breath getting deeper,
Squeezing me tightly and fading into the dark,
Until there is nothing but the disguarded blade.
I waited, I waited for you.
But you didn't call.
