One Black Cat

by Jordan   Mar 25, 2006

One black cat sits on the windowsill
and stares into the night
watching ravens fly by
and taking their flight
the cool night air curreses its fur
it stares into the driveway
where cars once were
where she'll be come morning light
awakened from another fight
the cat is the only one who waits for her
she'll come back when she dares
only to climb those abandoned stairs

Once again me and my friend Katie wrote this together.
