Illusion of perfection

by Brooke Johnson   Mar 25, 2006

This perfect little princess no one sees her pain.
the way she bottles it all up inside, she'll most likely go insane.

She has everything she wants, theres nothing else she needs.
So how could she feel so unhappy in this perfect life she leads?

She has all material things, she can even get the guys.
But shes searching for internal happiness, in this perfect life..of lies.

If people only knew what thoughts go through her head, maybe they'd reach out to this princess,
before sh ends up dead.
Luckily shes afraid of death, the thought of never waking up.
hopefully this fear stays with her, so her life does not come to an end.

Everyone sees the small things, they don't make the connection.
If they only say what our broken princess truly is they would see,
Shes only an illusion of perfection.
