Punctures

by Sarah   Mar 27, 2006

I'll never be able to hold you again.
Your corpse bloody and broken.
I'll never lie with you again.
Two punctures in your neck.
We'll never dance together.
Your murder scene in the night.
We'll never cry together.
Pictures snapping, life draining.

I'll miss your smile
Your dress is torn
I'll miss your kiss
Your feet are bare
I'll miss your life
You seem peaceful
I'll miss your soul
The moon graces your hair.

You made me feel alive
You were supposed to meet me
You made me smile
But he beat me to it.
You made me feel love
He wanted your blood
I never want to leave you
So he took your life
But it's all too late now
To fulfill his forever lasting thirst.

I'm all alone now
And you'll never be with me again.
I feel a cold chill now that you're gone
It stabs me, bites me, and kills me,
Because it won't leave me
Until you come back.
