Why Can't Love Be Easy?

Why can't things with love be easy,

This whole poem may even seem cheesy,

It's how I feel bout this whole ordeal,

I hate not being able to tell everyone how we feel,

I hate how it's not going as smooth as i would like,

I wish love was as easy as riding a bike,

In a way it is and in another it's not,

It is as in if you fall you get back up even though it hurts so bad,

And you cry because you are sad,

And get upset cause you are mad,

Mad at the world because things don't go the right way,

Mad cause you wanna know when love will be there each and every day.

Love is not as easy as riding a bike,

As in you seem to always be like,

Where, When, How, Who, What Do I Do?,

Love isn't a simple feeling for anyone including you,

If it were easy things wouldn't be the way they are,

You wouldn't have to worry bout walking to you car,

You wouldn't have to worry bout hurting someone,

You wouldn't have to say sorry for something you done,

You wouldn't have to continue wondering what tomorrow will bring,

Just know when tomorrow comes the birds will still sing,

The sun will still shine,

Even if you're not mine,

I wish things were better on our part,

Cause there's so much still held in my heart,

Wishing there was a way they'd understand,

Understand that you love me being your man,

Understand how I make you feel when I hold you hand,

Understand the feeling of peace we get when we look into each others eyes,

Understand all the nights you cries,

Understand why you've put them through all the lies,

Things will never be totally perfect for you and I,

But I'm sticking around to do my best to try,

This all hurts us both so much,

Just can't wait till I can't always feel your gentle touch,

Things will work out some how,

But as of right now,

Know that I love you and I care,

So many more things with you I wanna share,

Yet another poem I go and write for you,

There's gotta be something so damn special about you,

To make me wanna write you one again,

I'm sorry that right now loving each other seems like a sin,

But if I could go back in time to the day we met,

I still see myself here doing it all over again.
