you would tell me you loved me when i wasn't true.
Tell me why
I would say "it" back to you.

These are the questions
I wish i had the nerve to say.
These are the questions
I ask myself every single day.

I have prayed to God
Many times before.
But i still can't seem
To let you go.

Why is God
letting me feel so much pain.
Why did God
let you cause me such heartache.

But oh well,
I'll try to deal.
And hopefully someday
my wounds will heal
