XXxxMy Melancholy AngelxxXX

by Kim Slotnick   Mar 28, 2006

The loneliness is sinking in
By the point of your return I may be gone
Why isn't my time wearing thin? Instead, it drifts on and on... Wandering through the endless sky
Like a feather, flowing against the wind
There are forces of nature that I would defy
If this starving heart could only mend...
Always blown uncontrollably through the open blue
Coarse and Mangled
Oh, why can't I return to you?
My dearest angel...
Without this love
My thoughts are in the clouds
there is no one to tame this roaming dove
This forlorn soul darkness shrouds...
Nobody to repress this isolation inside
There is no one to hold close this melancholy soul
The desire inside helps abide
To drive me to meet my goal... Day and night, I shall search for my love, till upon reaching my tomb
When I find the other half of my moon...
