Understand (part II)

by The Spirit of Ash   Mar 29, 2006

You still don't get it do you?
I guess I should have expected that
Still, I wish you'd have a clue
From where I am getting at

Alright, be patient then
I'll get around to telling everything
For now, I'll say what you should know
There's already too much info you're acquiring

Well, you see the symptoms and signs
And that I am very sad
But, that's only the beginning
Being depressed gets really bad

Ever think outside the box?
What about what comes next?
Why else would it be a big deal?
If depression wasn't so complex?

Look, right here on my arm?
Do you see all the faded lines?
They make patterns all across
They are a record of my own design

But over here, are ones more fresh
Blood is still trickling down
I wish you wouldn't look at me like that
With your confused, puzzled frown

And it doesn't end with cutting
No, it gets much more dangerous
All over my tummy and legs
Are bruises, some are enormous

Yes, most are self inflicted
But no, not all of them are
They're from someone unexpected
I know, some things are so bizarre

please, let me know if I should make a part III

thank you! ]:=8)
