I knew from the start that you and I were meant to be
The love I saw in your eyes bedazzled me
Your smile conquered me
Leaving me with a feeling
That I want you
And I need you
Life was so meaningless, until -
Our hearts joined together
To make us one
When ever you're around
A warm feeling rushes through me
It reminds me of how much I love you
But then you started telling me all these hurtful things
And slowly you put your hands on me
You're hurting me, pain I never thought you could make me feel
My head starts spinning, you've always said you loved me
Then I start blaming myself
I was the reason you became so enraged
In my heart, I know you're the perfect guy
I miss the security I used to feel around you
You were my knight in shining armor
Alas this is what fate has decided
And because of it I must leave
Deserting the twisted road that it has painted for me
The feeling of being safe around you
Is now an autumn leaf
That has been carried away with the wind
Never to come back...
