Stupid Girl

by RockPixie   Mar 29, 2006

A hot summer night with just one little breeze.
But she feels so cold inside, she thinks she'd freeze.
She might collapse, she might break down,
Someday maybe well find her dead on the ground.
But then she sees him, her heart skips a beat.
She wants to follow him, he walks on the street.
A street lamp sputters as he passes by,
She stands in the shadow, her heart wants to cry
Cause he doesn't notice her; it's too dark outside.
She knows she should not hide.
And then she screams, hey, you there
She's scared of herself, & starts to stare.
She starts to walk in his direction.
Tries to get a little connection.
He turns his head and looks straight in her eyes,
She hopes he doesn't see all the cries.
But the only thing he sees is a girl that's broken,
He wants to talk to her, but leaves his words unspoken.
Suddenly his face turns white, hes eyes are big, he screams.
She thinks; he's just like one of them, some illusionary dreams.
But she can't hear just what he's yelling, probably hateful regrets.
And she wants to know if that is all she gets.
She should have seen it coming, she should have watched her back.
if she just had listened to the anxious words he said.
Then she wouldn't been hit by a car.
Now she's a star.
Only visible at night.
