Alone now

Will this pain ever go away?
Ever since you left me I have felt only sadness,
Never happiness or joy.

This pain is destroying me,
This ache, this hurting,
I wonder why you left me,
What am I meant to do without the one I love?
Am I destined to walk the earth alone?

I see couples walking by so happily,
And wonder why it cant be me,
I have lost so many and time has healed the wounds,
But not with you,
Why is that?

These thoughts of you still in my mind,
Those happy days I shall live no more.
