The Break Up

No one ever thought the day would come,
but it did and now they're done.
They seemed perfect for each other
but she just wasn't happy anymore.

He saw his future with her
and in his eyes she was perfect.
He was truly in love iwth her,
but she couldn't see.

She saw something different in her future.
She wasn't happy and needed a change.
Now, all they had been through was gone.

No one could understand waht had happened, and no one was sure that either of them understood the situation either.

Even though they remain friends,
it still isn't the same.
Nothing can replace the love they shared
but the scar remains.
