Her Name

by Eman D   Jan 27, 2004

The wind blows.
The river flows.
Leaves fall off of a tree.
I only watch what I can see.

A rock stays still on the ground.
Can the air make a sound?
Rain comes down cold as ice.
Sometimes she is bad sometimes nice.

Rain turns into hail.
Overhead is a quail.
She controls the tide at a beach.
She is not out of reach.

She is the wind beneath a kite.
She is a woman but stronger than a knight.
She makes the leaves fall.
She will always stand tall.

She gives the earth its flowers.
When it rains earth showers.
She makes the world spin to give us air.
Her name is “Nature” and she is everywhere.
