I Suffer

by Briana   Mar 31, 2006

Your bitter taste resonates on my tongue
Your black soul never forgotten
When I was drowned inside your world
I suffocated deep underwater

Your eyes so cold
Glaring at me in my dreams
So each night, I toss and turn
It's impossible to sleep

To forgo the past would be incredible
And remove your spirit within
Somehow, though it always seems
Your fire burns me inside

The effect you have on me is unknown to you
You live your life the usual way
Never aware of how I'm tormented
By thoughts of you each day

Sometimes I wish you could feel
The throbbing agony
That rips my heart into scraps
And forces me to bleed
