I'm sitting searching
for poems on the INTERNET
Because so many are about lost love
and i don't want to forget
I've been through so many emotions
just like the poem's authors
I'm sitting crying
praying to my heavenly father
But that's just it
i don't know what to do
Its been a minute
since ive been with you
I see you've moved on
and i can't beleive i cant
I never never never thought
i would be the one with regrets
In this time apart
I've loved you, hated you, wished we never met
but then i'm happy
to just have had love without any regrets
thats just it...
I'm confused you see
i just wish
the person going through this wasn't me
i don't know what i really want,
but i know i want peace
will that peace come
if thoughts of you cease?
Or will i never be happy
unless you're here with me?
that's why I'm sitting here
searching the INTERNET
looking at other love poems to see
if i can find an end
to this ongoing internal misery.
